Hahaha. Good god, that’s funny.
The Great Quinton Hoover. May he rest in peace.
Today’s posts will be dedicated to this iconic contributor to our humble game of Magic, and rightly so. Together with his family and friends, we grieve his loss, As an artist, we will always remember his passion as a creator.
“For them, it seems your journey has ended. But I know your journey has finally just begun.”
Wow. We’re getting nothing but bad news lately. :( This is a damn shame. Hoover was highly instrumental in the shaping of Magic’s early aesthetic.
I recommend following theartofmtg at least for the day to see his contributions to the game. You’ll be missed, sir.
A great inspiration, may his art live on.
Quinton Hoover was one of my favourite artists of all time. I’m shocked right now. His art made me pick up the pencil & brush myself. My he rest in peace. :(
Hey! Thanks for the message.
No, I don’t sell these illustrations. I made (and will continue to make) them as a ‘community service’ for all the Arctic Monkeys fans out there.
It makes me sad to hear that people make a profit out of it other than me or the band themselves. But I understand that is how it works, apparently - which is a good lesson for me.
The only way I would ever want to sell them is over the official band store or at least with their approval.
Please, whenever you see someone using my pictures with profit in mind, try to stop them.
